Networking is Key
As I mentioned on my last blog post, you can never be prepared for when an emergency (ex. COVID-19) will hit; but you CAN prepare for your financial future.
There is nothing more comforting than knowing that you are financially prepared to:
1. Maintain your current lifestyle
2. Continue to work toward your goals
2. Ensure a comfortable retirement
3. Navigate through unexpected emergencies
Having a financial advisor is essential. Studies have shown that individuals who engage a financial advisor are more likely to reach their personal goals than those who choose to chart their own course. You are paying them for their expertise. This extends way beyond keeping accounts for you. Experts continuously stay abreast of new laws and new investment options and even new loopholes. Investing in a financial advisor is an investment that not only ensures financial stability, but gives the consumer confidence and trust allowing you to rest easy knowing that you’re set up for success.
Susan Riley has been my financial advisor for over 14 years. She has advised me through different financial brackets, milestones, and even personal decisions. She knows my spending habits, my priorities, and my short and long term goals. She is the person I call to say “Can I stretch myself financially to do this or is this a dumb decision?” She has not only educated me, but she has empowered me.
When COVID-19 hit me personally and my job and paycheck were affected, I had one of those “Jerry McGuire” moments. You know, the scene when he has finally made it big and needs to talk to his agent?! I had that same moment-- only it was when the crap hit the fan and I needed assurance that I would make it through financially with only half pay and zero opportunities for a part time “side gig”. My first call was to Susan who immediately helped me come up with a game plan.
I am not the only one that thinks she’s amazing…
For 6 years in a row, Susan has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager, an honor awarded to a select group of advisors for quality of service and success in business and ethics.
She’s a rockstar! I’m so glad to have her in my circle!
